Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading or using BlockMap ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. BlockMap is provided by Nikandr Software Limited ("we," "us," "our"), registered in Hong Kong SAR.

2. The service

BlockMap lets you select real-world locations and generates downloadable game world files (in the Minecraft Bedrock world format) based on public map data. Worlds are generated on our servers and delivered to your device for use in a compatible copy of Minecraft that you own.

3. Your account

The app signs you in anonymously to track your free-world allowance and your subscription status. You are responsible for use of the app on your device.

4. Free use and subscriptions

• Your first world is free.
• Continued and unlimited world creation requires a paid subscription (weekly or annual). The annual plan may include a free trial.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by region.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel anytime in Google Play > Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempting to bypass the free-world limit or subscription checks; overloading, disrupting, or reverse-engineering the service; using the app for unlawful purposes; or generating content that infringes the rights of others.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and our software are owned by Nikandr Software Limited. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors, is © OpenStreetMap contributors, and is used under the Open Database License. Generated world files are provided for your personal use.

BlockMap is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios. You are responsible for owning a valid copy of Minecraft to use generated worlds.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated worlds will be accurate, complete, error-free, or available at all times. Map data may be incomplete or outdated.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nikandr Software Limited is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the app at any time.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here; continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
